Kirk Nicklas has been teaching art and photography in Ft. Lauderdale, FL since 2003. Classes are limited in size which translates into lots of one-on-one attention. Subjects include digital photography, figure drawing, oil painting and other art media. Classes change every 4 weeks.
Kirk has a Masters in Communications/Photography from NYU and a Fine Arts degree from Allegheny College. He teaches or has taught digital photography with Broward College and various association. Some of Kirk's students have been with him since the first classes.
Thanks for interest in modeling for the figure drawing classes. Currently, class meets on Monday Evenings from 6-9 in Wilton Manors. Models are rotated on a weekly basis. (Students like to draw different individuals each week.) Each session pays $50. (This figure is non-negotiable.) Models receive a notice before each month's session to sign up for time slots. To get on the list, please forward your information with a photograph and contact info to kirknicklas@gmail.com.
Reimbursement Policy
Once class is in session, no class fees (whole or part) will be reimbursed or credited toward future classes. (Our class fees are less than half the price of area college courses.) If classes are prepaid, and minimum enrollment is not met, class fees will be reimbursed. Classes cancelled because of weather or instructor cancellation will be rescheduled to a later date, but not reimbursed.
